Create a Quote

Add Products
Once a Quote record has been created it is time to Add Products from a standardized Product Catalog and Price Book.
Search Features
Relevant Products are populated with their list price. Search features and filters make product selection faster and easier.
Bundle Products
A bundle/kit allows for products to be grouped together with specific rules that can be default or required. In this kit, the user can only select one of the lighting systems as hardware. Specific accessories and software are automatically defaulted or recommended.
Similarly, product dependencies are enforced. The Low Capacity Battery cannot be added because it is only compatible with another system. Building rules reduces the complexity of quoting, saves time, and ensures the customer gets the right combination of products.
Trigger Approvals
Once products are configured and selected, prices can be adjusted. Applying a 20% discount across the board can trigger manager approvals. Each product can have different discount and approval thresholds, if necessary.
Manage Discounts
The pricing tool can also work back from a target amount to intelligently calculate how to get to the target amount while staying under the discount/approval thresholds for each specific product.

Once the quote has been saved with specific products and prices, a comprehensive document can be easily generated to send to the customer.
