Grants Managers and Executives can utilise Einstein Analytics dashboards to get a complete view of the agency’s current grants. This arms them with key insights to drive decision making throughout the application and review process. They can spot trends and take action to improve and enhance their agency operations. This allows all of the information that is required to grant funding to be stored and acted upon in one central location, speeding up approvals while providing full transparency for all users in a time of crisis.
Overview
Timely, efficient and accountable distribution of emergency grant and loan funds is critical as regions focus on crisis response, relief and reformation efforts. The Salesforce platform enables government agencies to stand up funding mechanisms quickly to provide monies to citizens in need and the programs designed to boost long term recovery.
Self-Service Portals
This capability includes an easy to use self-service portal that provides an applicant with streamlined workflows to manage awards, define processes for grant approvals and a fully digitised experience with document upload and e-signature integration. Applicants can also see resources and find the answers they need with a rich knowledge base, helping them serve themselves and reduce case loads for the agency.
Easily submit applications
Through the use of multi-step forms, applicants can fill out their contact information and eligibility. At any point in the application, applicants can reference help articles or contact a representative through the support button.
Upload documents
Applicants can upload files and submit all required information quickly and easily. When all information is completed, the applicant can submit the application.
Streamline workflows
Grants Specialists can login remotely and immediately see an overview of all new grant applications for review. Upon opening up the grant application in Salesforce, they can see a path at the top of the page with the status, details, and all attachments. Then, they can assign members roles and permissions, fostering a collaborative environment. After ensuring the application is ready, the specialist can move the application to the final approval stage.
Digitise paper-based processes
After a review is completed and the grantee is selected, the grantee is automatically notified of their award and needs to sign acceptance documents. Through an integration with DocuSign or other third-party application, a traditionally manual, paper-based process, has been digitised.
The grant specialist can add the document, specify the recipient(s) and personalise the email message.
Track progress reports
After the grant acceptance and signature, grantees can go back into the community and monitor the award. They will receive updates regarding the status of the documents and track financials.
